How To Get Involved in The Predict International
The Predict International ranks players based on Activity Points (AP). The more AP you collect, the higher your place on the leaderboard — and the greater your rewards.
AP is accrued by placing predictions on match-specific markets (which you can view here). Clicking on a match will open the dropdown to reveal its markets, as well as the amount of AP they pay out upon successful prediction.
To earn AP, you’ll need to lock in at least 20 shares before the match begins.
Once the market resolves, your AP for correct predictions is credited, and will be reflected in the Leaderboard and My Points tabs.
How Do Rewards Work?
Rewards are split across two phases to mirror the structure of The International: Group Stage Rewards and Final Rewards.
Group Stage Rewards
Pool: 25,000 USDT and 1,000,000 PP
Date: Aug 13 - Aug 16
Group Stage Rewards will be paid out following the group and elimination round stages.
Activity Points earned during this period will carry over to the playoffs. They will not reset.
Final Rewards
Pool: 75,000 USDT and 4,000,000 PP
Date: Aug 20 - Aug 23
Final Rewards will be paid out following the best-of-five match between the final two teams.
Who’s eligible?
The top 1,000 players on the leaderboard will receive rewards.

FAQs
I traded on a Dota 2 market but didn't earn any points. Why?
Activity Points (AP) are only earned on the markets visible in the activity hub.
To earn AP, you need to buy shares from these markets and lock them in.
What counts as a valid lock?
You must lock at least 20 shares in a single action and hold them until the market resolves.
If you have fewer than 20 shares available, the Lock button stays disabled.
Does locking more shares earn more points?
No. 20 shares is a minimum threshold, not a multiplier. Each market awards a fixed number of Activity Points, and each market pays once per user, so locking 200 shares earns the same as locking 20.
Do I need to claim my Activity Points?
No. Activity Points are calculated and displayed automatically once your locked markets resolve. Only the Group Stage Rewards and the Final Rewards have a claim step.
Do my points reset after the Group Stage round?
No. The two rounds are separate and your points carry over — everything you've accumulated since the event start counts toward your Final Reward ranking. Each round pays out based on a leaderboard snapshot taken for that round.
