    How to Play

    It's as simple as hitting Join at the top of the page. Once you do, you're in! All trades will count towards your ranking in the tournament (including API ones). Don't wait – if you join late, we can't count your previous trades retroactively.

    The Rules, at a Glance

    1. Sign up

      This goes whether you trade on the platform or API. Get in early, because we won't credit pre-joining trades.

    2. Trade LoL Worlds markets

      Remember: pre-match and in-match trades both count.

    3. Check the summary card and reveal Lootboxes

      Post match, tap Reveal to see the rarity of your Lootboxes.

    4. Keep going until the Final

      Trade matches and accumulate Lootboxes. Then, once the Final ends, open them up!

    How Lootboxes Are Earned

    Matches have a fixed number of Lootboxes up for grabs, and your share is determined based on how much you contributed to the match. In other words, the more you trade and the more active you are, the more Lootboxes you'll earn.

    Turnout and volume differ from match to match, so what earns you Lootboxes in one match may not in the next. And remember: in-match trading is weighted heavier than pre-match trading.

    Lootbox Rarity

    Lootbox rarity is as follows:
    • Common
    • Uncommon
    • Rare
    • Epic
    • Legendary
    But the regular Lootboxes aren't all you'll find. If you're lucky, you'll come across Special Boxes.

    The Difference between Reveals and Opens

    Reveals can be performed as soon as you receive a Lootbox. This will show you the box's rarity.

    Opens occur only once, following the Final. When they do, you'll find out what each rarity is worth, and your boxes are cashed out for rewards.

    Note that revealing makes no difference to the final outcome: rarity is assigned as soon as you receive your box. You can reveal it right away, or leave it until the last minute.
